Hanwha Ocean built Korea's first 1,200-tonne submarine,
Yi Cheon, in 1992. It launched the 3,000-tonne Dosan Ahn Changho-class in 2018 and the 3,600-tonne Jang Yeong-sil in 2025, and delivered Korea's first export submarine to Indonesia in 2017.
